Anrealage exhibits fashion at Japan House in Los Angeles. The exhibit plays with light, perspective and perception.

Japan House has come to Los Angeles and it brought brilliant company. As a hub for cultural understanding and appreciation of Japan and its illustrious culture, Japan House has taken up residence at Hollywood and Highland where it’s also hosting the first North American exhibit of world renowned designer Kunihiko Morinaga of ANREALAGE. Entitled ‘A LIGHT UN LIGHT’, the gallery exhibition utilizes light to delve into how we wear, see and perceive fashion from its movement to its scale, textures and colors. While the focus is on light, there is also an appreciation of shadow, mystery and revelation.

Born in Tokyo, Kunihiko Morinaga has built an international following. His designs are modern and visionary, playful, passionate and technologically astute/curious. Morinaga debuted at Paris Fashion Week in 2014 with his ANREALAGE 2015 S/S collection, entitled SHADOW.

Morinaga’s vision and ANREALAGE’s forward-thinking pieces are on gallery display at a 6,000 sq ft space in LA’s historic Hollywood + Highland center.
