Early today, news hit about a Germanwings airbus crash in the French Alps. All 150 passengers are feared dead. People have quickly expressed support and sadness at these confusing events.

Germanwings is not going about business as usual; the airline has changed their wings logo to black and grey on Twitter as they announced, “Our thoughts and prayers go to the family and friends of those onboard Flight 4U9525. We are with you, @Germanwings. #staystrong.” Its parent company, Lufthansa, has also greyed its logo.

Additionally, the company has ceased all recreational tweeting and is using the account to update families and the media as well as statements from Lufthansa.

Our deepest sympathies go out to the families of the passengers. Anyone wishing to stay updated can follow @Lufthansa and @Germanwings.
