Joy Donnell stays focused on the legacy, not just the currency. As a Producer/Writer with an extensive entertainment and corporate PR background, Donnell uses her experiences with the media, fame and society to inform her work.

Donnell has handled PR and branding for several publicly-traded/private luxury and entertainment brands such as Caesarstone, Campaign for Wool initiated by HRH The Prince of Wales, Daimler Chrysler Mercedes Maybach and Warner Bros’s Oscar-nominated film Blood Diamond. She has connected brands to celebrities including Samuel L Jackson, Calista Flockhart, and Patti LaBelle.
She noticed early on that business, brands and art that endure does so because of a core truth and a true legacy that was not solely motivated by money. Alongside Lindsey Labrum, she’s a Founding Partner at Opulent Pictures which is currently developing several feature films.
Donnell’s creative writing has been published in several literary magazines and anthologies including some pieces published by Beacon Press, St. Martin’s Press and Random House. Donnell’s most recent script is a short psychological thriller currently titled “Try to Forget.” Donnell devised the story concept of amnesiac who confronts his past only to discover an unexpected future. She co-wrote the script with her husband, Jeff Moeller. Award-winning director Terrisha Kearse helmed the project which filmed in Los Angeles and stars fitness celebrity Ian Lauer and Celisse Graves.
As an international speaker, Donnell still loves to share her knowledge about branding, publicity and the benefits of creativity for professionals. She still does PR consulting for a select few to help them achieve the PR results they need. Her ebook, Pitch Perfect, is a quick guide on establishing brand and PR best practices for the motivated entrepreneur. The book has widely around the world.
For Donnell, everything she does is about owning your individual power, whether it is the power of your voice, the brilliance of your own ideas or your ability to connect to others. This is what ensures a legacy and a life that sustains.
